Lancashire-based Daniel Thwaites, based in Blackburn, is the leading Regional Brewery in Northern England. A proud family business, operating since 1807 - remaining in family ownership for all of this time. Since their bicentenary in 2007, Daniel Thwaites have added to their range of beers - it now includes beers that are the fastest growing Premium Bottled Ales in the U.K.

The Indus was a ship that sailed back and forth to the Far East at the time that Daniel Thwaites was embarking on his brewing career. Paying tribute to this, Indus is an incredibly drinkable and moreish amber I.P.A. with an abundance of hop character from four different varieties of hops used in brewing this beer.
